Secondary school places

The closing date for secondary school place applications for children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 was 4 November 2024. You can still apply for a secondary school place, but applications must be made through a separate online form (not an Education Self-Service account).

Nursery places

The closing date for nursery place applications for children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 was 16 February 2026. If you've already applied, we'll let you know the outcome by 5 May 2026. If you make any amendments to an on-time application after the closing date, we will consider this as a new application which will replace anything previously received and will be recorded as late.

Changing an application after it has been submitted

After submitting a school admissions application, if you’d like to make a change there will be a short period where you can unsubmit your application through account management.

If the option to unsubmit an application is not displayed, you will need to complete an online form to let us know about a change.
